TruTurn is a high performance steering system upgrade for 1967-1969 Camaro and Firebird F-Body and 1968-1972 Nova and X-body cars. TruTurn corrects the poor suspension geometry and tire clearance issues that limit the performance of early Camaros, Firebirds and Novas. These cars suffer from a variety of issues including tires that lean outward during cornering, severe bumpsteer, and a lack of room for wide wheels due to interference between OEM steering arm and the inside of the front wheels. TruTurn Steering System resolves ALL these issues. Tires now lean INTO the turn, while bumpsteer is reduced to UNDER .050″ through 5″ of suspension travel. Best of all, you now have clearance to run up to a 10″ wide wheel with a 275mm tire!
The complete, bolt-on steering system solution includes:
- Tall Dropped Spindles – 1.75″ taller overall to improve camber gain. Spindle pin is raised to lower your car by 2″
- Steering Arms – Designed to correct bumpsteer AND allow clearance for up to a 10″ wide wheel with a 5.75″ backspacing.
- Forged Drag link – Bolts in place of your oem drag link to relocate the inner tie rod end to minimize bumpsteer
- Tie Rod Assemblies – Integrates with your new steering arms and centerlink to provide a Tru “no fab” bolt on steering system.
