Ridetech-equipped Corvette Wins Goodguys Autocross in Colorado

Over the weekend, Scott Fraser and his 1987 Corvette took home top honors in the Pro Autocross class and Pro Autocross Shootout at the 23rd annual Goodguys Colorado Nationals. At the end of last month, Scott won the Street Machine class at the Goodguys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton.

Although Scott has more than 20 years of Autocross experience, this Corvette project is relatively new. Highlights include a LS6, ZF-6 transmission and Ridetech TQ triple adjustable suspension all around. For tires, he uses 275 Nankangs.

“Between Pleasanton and Colorado, I changed a few things on the car while at home in preparation for the event,” Scott says. “I aligned the suspension, adjusted the fuel injection for 5,100 feet elevation.”

While at the track, he dialed in the ride height and fine-tuned the settings on his TQ shocks. With everything sorted, he cranked out a 22.740, winning the class.

Scott’s C4 is constantly evolving, but it’s important to note that it isn’t far from being a street car. “People came over all weekend long after the runs to check out the car,” he says. “They were in shock on how stock the car was compared to the competition.”

Congratulations to Scott, his family and his team. We’re looking forward to seeing what they do with the car next. Are you trying to get your ’Vette sitting lower and handling better? Make sure to check out our full Corvette lineup here.
