Over the weekend, we made the trip to Colorado Springs to cover one of the hottest events in racing: Gridlife Alpine Horizon Fest. Gridlife combines high performance cars with high-energy parties to create unforgettable events for racers and fans alike.
Here at Ridetech, we’ve always been hooked on racing. At the Alpine Horizon Fest, there was plenty of on-track action featuring a wide range of vehicles. For those new to racing, there was High Performance Driver Education, which provides track time for drivers (and passengers) looking to get involved. The competition was fierce in the Grid Life Touring Cup, an ongoing wheel-to-wheel racing series designed for maximum accessibility—and excitement.
The competition didn’t stop there, either. At Horizon Fest, racers also duked it out in time attacks, drift showdowns, and rally and off-grid racing. When paired with after-hours shows by Lupe Fiasco, Yung Gravy and a long list of others, it made for an epic weekend.
There’s no doubt that Gridlife is on the cutting edge of the racing world. It’s fast-paced and community-centric yet, in many ways, the cars are still the stars. Looking to join the fun? Head over to the Gridlife site here for more information about upcoming events.
