Showdown at the Scottsdale Spring Nationals

On March 18th-20th, hot rods and street machines invaded Scottsdale for the 12th annual FiTech Spring Nationals. From Friday through Sunday, WestWorld was filled with more than 2,000 of the nation’s best cars.

Between the show, the swap meet, the burnout contest and the Nitro Thunderfest, there was no shortage of action. We had our eye on the Scottsdale Shootout Autocross, which brought out top drivers and cars from across the United States.

From Camaros and Corvettes to Datsuns and lifted trucks, the field was diverse to say the least. Best of all, it seemed as if everyone had a different driveline combination. Smallblock, big block, turbochargers, you name it, it was there.

We always enjoy catching Autocross action, and this year in Scottsdale was no exception. Take a look at some of our favorites from the FiTech Spring Nationals.
