On September 9th-11th, the high-performance world roared to Bowling Green for the 2022 LS Fest East. The weekend-long bash brings the best cars from across North America to historic Beech Bend raceway for three days of nonstop fun.
Just like the name entails, the show revolves around GM’s LS engine. Ever since its introduction in 1997, the stout V8 has been the powerplant of choice for racers and hot rodders alike. LS Fest puts both car and driver to the test.
The best part? LS Fest East rolls 15 events into one. Off road racing, drag racing, Autocross, drifting, dyno, Time Attack, 3S, and more, there’s a little (actually, a lot) of something for everyone.
Much like the events, the cars themselves are as diverse as they come. From Camaros and classic trucks to Fox body Mustangs and tube-framed creations, everything was welcome. The sky’s the limit—as long as it’s LS Powered.
Just like in years past, we had our fully stocked Ridetech booth set up in the Manufacturers’ Midway. We enjoyed catching up with everyone who stopped by.
