Team Ridetech and Voelkel Motorsports were in Bowling Green, Kentucky — home of the iconic Corvette manufacturing plant and The National Corvette Museum. NCM hosted the USCA Optima Ultimate Streetcar event at their world-class road course facility, NCM Motorsports Park.  Optima Batteries USCA events consist of 5 segments: Autocross, Road Course, Speed-Stop, Design/Engineering, plus a Road Rally.

Drivers Chris Smith, Bret Voelkel, and Andy Voelkel enjoyed another stellar weekend. Smitty took the win in USCA GTV class, while Bret finished 4th in GTV and Andy finished 10th in GTS.
Ridetech founder Bret Voelkel commented “I think our success this past weekend is very representative of what we can accomplish as the season progresses.  One victory helps fuel the next. Fox Factory has always been a huge supporter of Ridetech, but their new ownership brings next-level technology and resources to further optimize the performance of the Ridetech cars and end-user cars alike. Furthermore, Fox Factory exposes us to a much wider audience. This, in turn, will allow us to develop and sell more and better products!”

Chris Smith, driver of the Track 1 Camaro, commented “ The Track 1 Camaro won Daytona USCA as well as the Nashville Goodguys event, but the car performed even better here at NCM Motorsports Park. We are getting a handle on what this car likes every event!”
