From the Rodfather Tour: “Hot rodders are rebels, how else can you explain someone who choses to drive a car that was originally built over half a century ago that has been modified to have more power and performance than most modern muscle cars.
Back in the day, that rebel image was even more pronounced. Young “hooligans” driving cars with no fenders, no mufflers and more attitude than any biker gang on the road… hot rodders gained a reputation of being real hell raisers.
Talking to the participants on the Rodfather tour, we wanted to see if this reputation was deserved or purely a nostalgic notion… or somewhere in between.”
