Lowering the 2019-2023 Silverado / Sierra with TWA Motorsports | Bonus Helper Bag Install

There’s no better way to lower your 2019-’23 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra than with Ridetech. This spring, Travis of TWA Motorsports installed our latest suspension system on his 2020 Sierra. Luckily for us, he documented the process from start to finish on his YouTube channel, which you can find here.

When a stack of Ridetech boxes showed up at his Aurora, Missouri, garage, he didn’t waste any time. “It’s going to be epic,” he says at the beginning of the unboxing video.

Travis currently has a long list of projects in the works, including a 1955 Chevy that will be getting Ridetech suspension.

The Silverado, however, will be his daily driver and occasional tow vehicle. With the new lowering kit, it’ll look—and drive—better than ever.

“You can already see how much more in-depth this kit is,” he says, sifting through the boxes. “It’s just well thought out.” Throughout the video, he unearths helper bags, powdercoated brackets, shocks, and a whole lot more. It’s like Christmas morning.

The Installation

In the second video, Travis dives right into the installation. For the next two hours, he explains every step of the lowering process.

In signature TWA Motorsports style, he focuses on both the big pieces and the fine details. And, when it’s all said and done, he had the stance dialed in.

Make sure to stay tuned to Travis’ channel for more updates, installs and giveaways. We can’t wait to see the truck out on the road!

Helper Bag Install

Once Travis had the truck sitting low, he installed a Ridetech helper bag system. This air-assist load-leveling kit allows him to use the truck for hauling, towing and everything the truck was built to do. Check it out below.
