Description

This RideTech CoilOver System is specifially designed for 1997-2013 C5 & C6 Corvette and includes front and rear CoilOver Shocks, mounting bracket and springs.   By eliminating the leaf springs you can easily manipulate the vehicle height and spring rates independently to create the stance and ride that YOU want.

The HQ Series Shocks provide rebound adjustment to the driver and the ability to tune ride quality and handling to your specific taste.    A wide range of rebound adjustment allows you to cruise down the road in plush comfort or firm up your suspension for those Saturday morning canyon roads.

The remote reservoir TQ Series Shocks feature rebound adjustment and dual stage [High Speed & Low Speed] compression adjustment.   High speed adjustment allows tuning for impact harshness and low speed adjustment allows tuning of cornering characteristics, perfect for use on the autocross or road course.

So far, I really like the system. Installation was straight-forward. My only complaint is the “standard” set up of 450 lbs springs in front and 550 lbs rear. I called to discuss this before buying. The person I spoke with was dismissive and not helpful. I explained I was installing on a regularly tracked Z06, with aero. Perhaps the gentleman I spoke with just isn’t a Vette guy, but I assumed he knew the product. I was correct in my concern – the front air dam drags at speed, and turn-in on fast sweepers causes too much droop. I’m switching to stiffer fronts, but disappointed that there wasn’t better technical advice at the time of purchase. That’s a set-up issue. And one size does not fit all. The hardware itself is fantastic.

Sorry to hear about the coil springs not being what you needed and any misunderstandings on our part. I have reached out to you and look forward to getting the correct springs headed your way.

I installed these myself on my street / track ’07 Z06 Corvette. The instructions were very complete and the installation was straight-forward. The instructions were well done, with simple steps and photos. All the parts seem exceptional well-made and engineered. Everything fit exactly as it should. While I like to work on my car, I’m certainly no day-job mechanic. This was a big procet by my standards, but it went exceptionally well. I’ve had the system on my car for about 3 months, during which time I’ve done 3 track days. In short – I love it. The handling on the track – as well as the street – is fantastic. I had some initial questions with set-up that the Ridetech customer service folks walked me through and helped solve by adjusted the spring rates a bit from their “standard” 425/550 set-up. If you have questions, I suggest giving them a call to tell them what you have going on. Overall, a great product and fantastic customer support.
