Bringing it Back to the Fifties!

This weekend, we’re in St. Paul, Minnesota, for Back to the Fifties. Hosted by the Minnesota Street Rod Association, the three-day show has been a Father’s Day tradition for nearly half a century. We’re excited to be right here in the middle of the action.

From Friday through Sunday, more than 10,000 cars flooded into the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Hot rods, customs and all sorts of pre-1965 machines filled the tree-lined streets, making their way into every nook and cranny of the classic venue.

Walking around the show, you never know what you’ll see next. Tri-Five Chevys here and slammed trucks there. Flathead-powered early Fords on one side of the street and panel-painted lowriders on the other. From fresh builds to survivors, it’s a diverse mix of cars unlike anywhere else.

With the sun shining and a slight summer breeze, the weather has been perfect all weekend long. We set up our Ridetech booth in the Manufacturer’s Midway, and we’ve enjoyed catching up with folks from around the world. This year, we have our 2018 Mustang GT on air on display; we’re looking forward to putting more miles on it this summer.

There’s no denying that Back to the Fifties brings the fun. Between the cars, the music, the food and the shop tours, it seems as if there’s something new to appreciate around every corner. It’s been a great year in Minnesota. We can’t wait to see what 2023 holds.

Always a great time in Minnesota at Back to the 50s catching up with friends and looking at cars. Thanks for the picture of the FUN32 all the way from Texas!
