We’re in Columbus, Ohio, for Goodguys’ Summit Racing Nationals! Now in its 24th year, the massive show is the biggest on their lineup. More than 6,500 cars from across the United States and Canada rolled into the Ohio Expo Center for three full throttle days.
Friday was rainy, but that didn’t stop the cars—and the crowds—from filling the fairgrounds. By Saturday, every type of vintage vehicle imaginable made their way into the venue’s nooks and crannies. Walking around the grounds, you never knew what you were going to come across next.
Hot rods. Muscle cars. Pro Touring. Pro Street. Restored classics, racecars, and one-of-a-kind wonders. All weekend long, there was no shortage of machines to look at.
If that weren’t enough, there was also the Buckeye Autocross Shootout, a treasure-filled swap meet and cackling drag cars at the Nitro Thunderfest. What’s more, Goodguys announces their Street Rod of the Year and Street Machine of the Year in Columbus.
Just like in years past, we set up our fully stocked Ridetech booth in the Manufacturers Midway. This time around, we showcased our 1976 Ford F-100 and 2018 Ford Mustang, both of which are on air. We also had a series of fantastic customer cars parked there, too.
On Saturday afternoon, Goodguys named our F-100 system 2022’s Best New Suspension Product of the Year. We’re honored and grateful for the award. Click here for the full story.
With another Summit Racing Nationals in the books, we would like to thank everyone who stopped by to say hi. We enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new ones. We’re already looking forward to our next stop—the NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. We’ll see you there!
